Grubb Ventures is a proud recipient of a 2018 Sir Walter Raleigh Award for Community Appearance by the City of Raleigh for Dock 1053. The award was accepted by Grubb’s Director of Leasing and Acquisitions, Sam Crutchfield, and their Construction Manager, Bill Burgess.

The renovated Dock 1053 warehouse and creative space on Whitaker Mill Road in Raleigh is bringing in three new tenants in the spring.

Small businesses getting squeezed out of downtown Raleigh will soon have a repurposed warehouse to relocate or expand their operations. What many know as the Winn-Dixie building on East Whitaker Mill Road is being transformed by Grubb Ventures of Raleigh.
